- Prepare the Onion:-Peel onion and cut off almost ½ inch from the pointy beat (take off root conclusion intaglio). Put the onion root-side down. Beginning ½ inch from the root, make descending cuts all around to make “petals.” Carefully isolated the layers marginally.
- Make the Batter and Dredge:- In one bowl, whisk together flour, paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, cayenne, salt, and dark pepper. In another bowl, whisk egg and drain.
